Well I thought I would start with some of my favorites. Since I grew up on Long Island (LI) in New York state, that's where I turned when I sarted to get interested in photography. My favorite LI locations include Connetquot River state park, Orient Point, Montauk Point, Quogue Wildlife Refuge, Hoyt Farm, Elizabeth Morton Preserve, and Blydenburg Park.

The Adirondaks in upstate NY are also realy great.

When I leave NY, my favorite place is Alaska. The weather is generally pretty lousey, but when you have that golden moment, there is no place better.

My single most favorite place to photograph would have to be Bryce Canyon National Monument... ...the canyon is completely other-world as you hike through there! You can see some of my images at http://www.utchs.com that incluce Bryce Canyon, The Grand Canyon, Arches National Monument, etc.
